"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."
Throughout the ages men of wisdom have pondered a great question: what are we? We are alive to percieve the world around us, to ponder it's mysteries and turn question into tangible fact. We observe the vast galaxies and test the minutiae of the tiniest components that make our being; and we know!
We ponder the mechanisms that have made us what we are, and find all those things that set us apart not only from our gravel surround, all those failed experiments of nature. We see how we came to be placed above all that we knew in our homes, why it is us that define what we shall make of reality. And it is that we know!
From the harsh world that gave us birth we have read the wisdom that it is our strengths that gave us this opportunity; not feeble compassion for the weaker products available for our use; not the whitebled dead heart of empathy ripe for exploitation; and never the castrate limbs of submission that has lead so many to their demise in infamy and disgust.
We know because we are strong enough to think, and we are able to think because we are strong enough to stay the hand of those who would control us. We have founded our camaraderie on the gospels of strength and knowledge, and he who saith 'thou shalt' to us shall ever be our mortal foe!
